Al Pacino Meets with Marvel's Kevin Feige About Future Collaboration
Iconic actor Al Pacino is well on his way to a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as he confirmed while appearing on Josh Horowitz's Happy Sad Confused podcast that he met with Kevin Feige about a potential collaboration.
"I've met with the Marvel guy," he said. "Tt's a marvel how things happen." He later clarified that the "Marvel guy" was, in fact, Marvel president Kevin Feige.
Pacino has now confirmed rumors that started flying earlier this year, when he said regarding a potential Marvel role: "Anything's possible. I did Dick Tracy and I got an Oscar nomination, so come on. I mean, what can I say?"
If Feige finds an appropriate project, Pacino, who has been nominated for eight Academy Awards and won one, would join several other Oscar-nominated actors in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including Robert Downey Jr., Samuel L. Jackson, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Gwyneth Paltrow, Natalie Portman, Robert Redford, Don Cheadle, Bradley Cooper, Djimon Hounsou, John C. Reilly, Glenn Close, Benicio del Toro, Anthony Hopkins, Michael Douglas, Josh Brolin, and (soon) Benedict Cumberbatch. So everyone, basically.
