Marvel Will Re-Release Original Star Wars Trilogy Comic Books

We still have more than a year to go before the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, so instead of sating fans with the usual endless string of teasers and vintage baseball cards, Marvel is also re-releasing their original comics adaptations of the original Star Wars trilogy as remastered comic books.

The remastered versions will be re-colored by Chris Sotomayor and released in a new hardcover format. Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope will be available in comic book stores in May, while Episode V The Empire Strikes Back and Episode VI Return of the Jedi will come out later that year, sequentially leading up to the release of Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens.
