Zack Snyder's film adaptation of the beloved graphic novel Watchmen has polarized critics and fans alike ever since its release, and at the recent WORD event in Jersey City, comedian and geek culture enthusiast Patton Oswalt joined the fray. Oswalt was asked his brutally honest opinion of Watchmen, with one of the stars sitting right next to him:

 

 

The funniest part of the video by far is their reaction to the question, which basically consists of Patrick Wilson cracking up and Patton Oswalt giving a look of unspeakable awkwardness. But the discussion is both interesting and civil, with Oswalt basically asserting that Snyder was "slavishly faithful" to the comic to the detriment of the overall effect of the film. While faithfulness is generally a positive thing, especially for fans of the source material, "you need to adapt."
