Leaked Supergirl Audition Videos Reveal Plot Details for CBS Show?

CBS has been mostly mum about specific plot details for their upcoming Supergirl series. But now, the internet has unearthed some audition tapes for the characters of Jimmy Olsen, Kara Danvers, Kara's sister Alex, and a character named Wynn which may reveal some plot details and maybe even a Superman cameo.

The first video shows a scene between Jimmy Olsen, a photographer who is famous for taking pictures of Superman, and Kara Danvers, aka Supergirl, in which she asks him if he was afraid of Superman when he first saw his powers in action. Another video, for a role named Wynn, also mentions the Man of Steel in some depth, with Wynn comparing the newly discovered Supergirl to her male counterpart. There's been some speculation that these test scenes imply a Superman cameo, but I'm not sure there's any real evidence for that, aside from them talking about him a lot.

There are also leaked audition scenes for Kara Danvers, who works with Jimmy at the Daily Planet, and for her foster sister, Alex, described as "brilliant" and "science-minded":

There's no guarantee that these scenes will actually appear in the show, although they do seem to reveal some general plot details. One of the central conflicts seems to be Kara's attempts to distinguish herself from Superman and to be taken seriously in spite of her stereotypically attractive appearance. Supergirl has a lot of baggage from a feminist perspective, both as a result of her status as a "female counterpart" to Superman and her sexualized appearance, so the fact that the show seems to be engaging with these questions can only be a positive thing.
