Marvel's Stan Lee Is Creating a New Superhero TV Show
I know it's April Fools, but this seems legitimate, I promise. Marvel legend Stan Lee is reportedly creating his own superhero television show for UK network Sky 1. The show is based on an original idea of Lee's in collaboration with the makers of Downton Abbey.

The show, to be called Lucky Man, follows a London detective who derives his superpowers from a charmed bracelet that affords him an inordinate amount of luck. Lee explained, "Luck has always been a fascinating subject to me, and I am excited to finally share that fascination with audiences around the world."

"Lucky Man is a different kind of superhero show," said executive producer Richard Fell, who has also worked on Doctor Who. "Stan has come up with an absolutely brilliant idea; something that we can all relate to. What if you could control luck? Would that be the greatest thing you could give someone, or their worst nightmare? It's a twist which brings the whole superhero genre right back down to Earth."

Lucky Man stars The Hobbit's James Nesbitt as the titular superhero, as well as Eve Best, Amara Karan and Omid Djalili. The first season will consist of ten hourlong episodes, to air on Sky 1 sometime in 2016.
