Relive a Sci-Fi Classic with 4 Trailers for the Blade Runner Re-Release Event
Every time I re watch Blade Runner I'm always blown away by how revolutionary it still feels, despite the fact it was originally released some 30 years ago. Ridley Scott's tale of intelligent A.I's and humanity's disdain towards them is such a joy to watch, both visually and cerebrally, that neither the visual effects or the narrative feel that dated, even with the massive modern day advancements in the former. The British Film Institute (BFI) is honoring Ridley Scott's achievement with a re-release event this month, and as part of those celebrations, they've released 4 short character teasers, which focus on the plight of the movie's biggest players, using the tagline "More Human than Human".

BFI's 30th Anniversary screenings of Ridley Scott's Blade Runner commence are running in locations across the UK starting today. For a full list of screening locations, visit the BFI website. If you're not in the UK, you'll have to settle for watching it at home, so either head to your local video store (if you still have one), get onto iTunes or get onto HBO Go, where it's currently showing, and settle in with one of the greatest Sci-Fi movies of our time.

As a bonus, IndieWire has pointed us in the direction of an interview with Ridley Scott from 1982.

And if you missed it last month, check out the full theatrical trailer that BFI released. You won't be disappointed.
