Awesome Compilation Video Shows Why Terminator: Genisys Is Nearly a Shot-for-Shot Remake
There are many reasons to be worried about Terminator: Genisys, but according to this amazing compilation video by Cracked, we can now add one more. The video pairs footage from the new film with shots from Terminator, Judgment Day, Rise of the Machines, and Salvation, and basically portrays it as a haphazard combination of bits and pieces from the other films in the series:

Honestly, I almost liked this compilation as a fan video better than an actual criticism, as Terminator: Genisys has made no secret of the fact that it's paying homage to the previous movies. And why shouldn't it? What Terminator fan didn't get chills when Emilia Clarke said "Come with me if you want to live"?

No, of all things, we're not concerned about Genisys being too derivative. We're far more worried about the wonky timeline and that dumb plot twist that they've already revealed for some reason.

Terminator: Genisys comes out in theaters on July 1.
