Original Cast Member Greg Grunberg to Return for Heroes: Reborn
The Heroes reboot just bagged another original cast member, as Greg Grunberg will join Masi Oka, Jimmy Jean-Louis, and Jack Coleman in the upcoming miniseries Heroes: Reborn. Like Oka's Hiro Nakamura, Grunberg's telepathic detective, Matt Parkman, will come back for a guest arc rather than a series regular role.

This doesn't come as a huge surprise, as Grunberg has already stated that he would be willing to come back to the franchise. "Well, you know, it'd be great to use that cop character as an investigative tool to find new people with power," he told EW last year. "I'm excited as a fan, to see what happens. If I can be a part of this, I would jump at the chance…None of us have been notified. We have no idea what's going on. They hinted that they might use some of the old characters to move story and plot. I think the fans or whoever was watching the show before, which was the world, really wants closure. I don't know how they would do this without using some of the main characters. I hope that they include me."

Now can we please get Milo Ventimiglia? Pretty please?

Heroes: Reborn, which also stars Chuck's Zachary Levi and Once Upon a Time's Robbie Kay, is expected to air on NBC sometime in fall 2015.
