The Most Disturbing X-Files Episode of All Time Might Be Getting a Sequel
From Jeffrey Tooms to the Flukeman, The original X-Files series had some truly unsettling monsters-of-the-week. But none were quite as disgusting as the Peacocks, the inbred mutant family from the season four episode "Home," who gave us nightmares and ensured that we'd never listen to Johnny Mathis's "Wonderful, Wonderful" the same way again:

Now, TV Line reports that the X-Files revival may feature a sequel to this classic episode, as the second installment of the six-episode miniseries is called, "Home Again." Other than the title, the evidence is somewhat tenuous; Glen Morgan is returning to write the episode, and he was also one of the scribes for the original "Home," for example. But with reports that the reboot will feature both mythology and monster-of-the-week episodes, it stands to reason that they would want to return to some of their most iconic one-off villains.

The X-Files miniseries will debut on Fox with a two-night premiere on Sunday, January 24, and Monday, January 25. "Home Again" will air on the latter date, and Mondays at 8pm will be the show's time slot for the remainder of the episodes.
