First Footage from the X-Files Revival Series Revealed in Two New Promos
Mulder and Scully aren't coming back to our screens until January, but Fox is promoting their reboot of the classic UFO conspiracy show by showing one episode per day, in order. It started earlier this month (but you can watch the first few episodes on Netflix anyway), and a promo for the event revealed the first footage from the revival series:

The end of the promo just has a couple of shots of Mulder and Scully back in the swing of things, but Fox also released the first promo for the show itself, and it's significantly juicier:

It shows all the X-Files staples: sinister government buildings, invasive medical experiments (conducted by aliens? The government? One of the two), and Scully being a bad-ass with her gun. It also shows military officers advancing towards something in the desert, which is always a good sign on an alien abduction show. The promo itself is called "I want to believe," which warms our little hearts.

The X-Files revival will be a six-episode miniseries starring Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny, reprising their roles as Dana Scully and Fox Mulder. It will also bring back key supporting players such as AD Skinner, The Smoking Man, John Doggett, and Monica Reyes. The series premieres on January 24, 2016 on Fox.
