Marvel's absence was keenly felt at San Diego Comic Con this year; although they claimed they didn't come because they didn't have any projects to promote, we all know that's not true. They had Ant-Man coming out the next weekend, and it's never too early to promote Captain America: Civil War, nor will anyone ever get tired of Guardians of the Galaxy panels. So we're guessing they opted out because they would rather make their announcements at D23 in a few weeks, when Disney is on full display and their only real competition for the news cycle will be Star Wars.

D23 finally released their full schedule, and lo and behold, it includes Captain America: Civil War, as well as Star Wars: The Force Awakens and many other upcoming live action and animated Disney projects. Here's the panel description for the live action panel, which includes appearances from Marvel and Star Wars:

Worlds, Galaxies, and Universes: Live Action at The Walt Disney Studios

Saturday, August 15, 10:30 am – Hall D23

Disney, Marvel and Lucasfilm are home to some of the planet's best storytellers, immersing audiences fully in the world of each film from beginning to end and beyond. In this exclusive Hall D23 presentation, join Walt Disney Studios Chairman Alan Horn for a tour of upcoming live-action projects from these legendary film studios. A bevy of special guests will be on hand to offer a look at an unparalleled slate that includes Alice Through the Looking Glass, The Jungle Book, Marvel's Captain America: Civil War, Star Wars: The Force Awakens-and much, much more.

And on the animation side of things, Disney will preview upcoming projects like Pixar's The Good Dinosaur, the Finding Nemo sequel Finding Dory, and Disney's Zootopia, as well as celebrations of the Frozen fandom and the 20th anniversary of Toy Story. And for us old geezers, there are panels that will make you nostalgic for classic old-school Disney, like Aladdin - The Makings of a Classic.

Disney's D23 Expo will take place on August 14-16. For the full schedule and more information, click here.
