DC Cinematic Universe Update: Wonder Woman to Start Filming This Fall, Justice League in Spring 2016
With filming on Batman v Superman completed and Suicide Squad currently in production in Toronto, the DC Cinematic Universe (DCU? DCCU? Can we decide on this soon?) is well underway. DC will be keeping themselves very busy trying to release two in-universe superhero movies per year a la Marvel, and now Empire's latest Batman v Superman cover story (via Comicbook.com) has revealed the shooting schedule for the next few Warner Bros. movies.

In the latest issue, special effects artist Deborah Snyder revealed that Wonder Woman will shoot this fall in London, while Justice League, for which they're already doing "soft prep," will shoot next spring, and pre-production on Aquaman has begun, with The Flash in the back of everyone's minds:

Opening quote
Logistically it is staggering. As Batman V Superman gains its coat of special effects, and the various stages of editing, scoring, grading and sound mixing are completed, Deborah Snyder, along with Roven, is watching over a sandbox that stretches around the world.

Jenkins is in London prepping Wonder Woman, which will shoot there this autumn. Suicide Squad, already well underway in Toronto under the earthy gaze of Ayer, will shoot through to September. "I do watch the dailies," she promises, enthusing about the film's "street quality."

They are already doing soft prep for the Justice League, which will begin shooting in the spring, and overseeing the script for Aquaman, which James Wan will direct... Deborah Snyder raises her eyes to the ceiling, shuffling through a comic rack in her brain, "and we have Flash we're working on, too."

Although they're hitting the ground running trying to build their interconnected Superhero universe, it is interesting to see the effect of trying to play catch-up. While Avengers came out after several solo movies had built the foundation, Justice League will come out when only Superman and Wonder Woman have headlined a film (unless you could Batman v Superman as functionally a Batman movie, which isn't too much of a stretch).

When asked how their universe compares to Marvel's, Batman v Superman director Zack Snyder said:

Opening quote
"Top down it is a different universe," said Snyder. "Right from the beginning it is different tonally from where those movies are. You know, DC is an ancient world in a lot of ways."

Batman v Superman comes out in theaters on March 25, 2016, while Wonder Woman comes out on June 23, 2017. Justice League will come out on November 17, 2017, followed by The Flash on March 23, 2018 and Aquaman on July 27, 2018.
