DC's Legends of Tomorrow Starts Filming with a 'Massive Fight Scene'
DC's Legends of Tomorrow officially began production today, and they're kicking it off the only way a superhero show should: with a fight scene.





It makes sense that Legends of Tomorrow would only begin production today, as it doesn't premiere until midseason, but we didn't realize until now that they hadn't even shot a full pilot. Or so it seems, as EP Andrew Kreisberg tweeted out the first page of the pilot script, and class act Stephen Amell congratulated the cast on the first day of "their pilot."

 


In that case, where did the footage from the promos come from? In any case, here's some more behind-the-scenes footage, which confuses me even further:



It's possible that they didn't need a full pilot for the series to get picked up because it's a spin-off, and it's going to have something of a backdoor pilot spread out over several Arrow and Flash episodes. We already know that Constantine will resurrect Sara Lance using the Lazarus Pit during his guest appearance on Arrow this season, and have even seen it in the Arrow promos:
