RealD Create Star Wars-themed 3D Glasses for Screenings of Star Wars: The Force Awakens
Whenever a new Star Wars movie is released in theaters, it's always going to be a major moviegoing event. While we probably won't see people lining up around the block for Star Wars: The Force Awakens (thanks Fandango), there are sure to be hundreds of people attending their local theaters in full Star Wars cosplay. But, if you're not willing to go all in with your Star Wars Fandom, RealD are here with a solution. Come December 18th, the 3D projection specialists will be dishing out special Star Wars: The Force Awakens-themed versions of their 3D glasses....

As you can see, the glasses are slightly heavy on the Dark side with a First Order Trooper, Kylo Ren, and the glossy Captain Phasma representing 3 of the 4 choices. Luckily, the light side does have at least one representative in the form of everyone's new favorite droid, BB-8.

The glasses are a huge upgrade compared to the traditional black aviator style, and they should make a fun keepsake for fans to remember their Star Wars viewing experience by. While many of you are planning on watching Star Wars: The Force Awakens in the traditional 2D format, it's also safe to say that the majority of you are already planning multiple viewings, so it may be worth a trip to your local 3D screen just to bag a pair of these glasses.
