[VIDEO] We're One Step Closer to 'Westworld' With These Awesome Robotic Muscles
We've talked about how very, very close we are to having a real-life Westworld, but we admit that the biggest hurdle is packing everything you need into a body that actually looks human—what with bones, muscles, legs, noses etc. If you can tell who's a robot just by looking at them (giant hand-clamps? Stiff movement? Whirring servos? Yep, robot), then where's the fun?

Well, thanks to the folks at the Tokyo Institute of Technology and Okayama University, we've now got creepily realistic robo-muscles overlaid on a skeleton, just like Westworld's Virtruvian Man logo:



Somebody better start developing that Voight-Kampff test soon.
