'Massive Golden UFO' Spotted on NASA Orbital Livestream
Conspiracy theorists are accusing NASA of an unprecedented cover-up, following the discovery of footage of what has been described as a "massive golden UFO."
Uploaded to YouTube by Screetcap1 (it's hard to miss that name as it's plastered all over the Public Domain NASA footage), a short clip of video shows the view from the International Space Station as it orbited the Earth.
For a few brief seconds, it's possible to see a mysterious (albeit somewhat blurry) golden something hovering above the clouds on Earth, before NASA conveniently loses the feed, throwing up a generic error message in the middle of their livestream.
This, argues Streetcap1 and other supporters of the theory, proves that NASA is part of a big conspiracy, keeping the public in the dark with regards to some kind of alien invasion force. Why else would the feed cut off entirely just as the UFO gets closer to the camera?
This is far from the first time that NASA has been accused of conveniently cutting off a video feed the moment a UFO pops into view. Last year, a similar UFO-hunting YouTube channel claimed to have spotted a "White Knight" spaceship during NASA footage of a rocket launch. To hear believers tell the story, it seems as if NASA is regularly hiding evidence of aliens by cutting the cameras every time they appear near a livestream.
Why the US government's cover-up efforts are trying so hard to keep aliens a secret isn't entirely clear. There's no real reason for NASA to hide aliens unless they're communicating with us, and if we have some kind of secret relationship, it's strange that the aliens keep trying so hard to jump out in front of our cameras.
Perhaps the reason why UFOs seem to always appear the moment a camera feed cuts out is because if the feed were to continue a little longer, it would become readily apparent that this golden object was just a cloud or a satellite or something similarly unremarkable. This could all be a case of unfortunate timing for a signal disruption, with UFO truthers looking desperately for evidence of some big cover-up that means that every blurry light is hailed as the new proof of an alien invasion.
It's worth noting that, according to Streetcap1, this mysterious golden object must be "hundreds of miles long." Apparently, aliens have managed to visit the Earth's upper atmosphere in a shiny golden star destroyer, but nobody down below noticed anything.
Perhaps the ship also has cloaking, albeit cloaking that only works on its underside. Or, maybe, this footage from all the way back in 2016 is entirely unremarkable.
This isn't a recent piece of footage and is more than likely merely the result of someone trawling through old NASA footage in the hopes of finding something weird.
The fact that the area surrounding the conveniently blurry golden "object" is also slightly tinted does seem to suggest that this golden glow is caused merely by bright yellow sunlight reflecting on a cloud.
As far as oddball discoveries go, this is hardly a flying Tic-Tac.
