Gymnast Robot Nails Perfect Quadruple Backflip

Robot development has come a long way recently. We've gone from creating useless machines to having one of the most advanced science labs in the world roaming the surface of another planet. But despite the technological marvel that is the Mars Curiosity Rover, there is a robot with more extravagant abilities that has got everyone talking right now...

Not phased by his dingy gymnasium surroundings, the tiny robot, named Hinamitetu, was recently filmed performing a perfect quadruple back-flip, a feat that is sure to send shockwaves through the world of gymnastics. Granted, it may be some time before robots are allowed to enter into Olympic competition, but Hinamitetu has left us all craving more magnificent feats of robot athleticism. More we say, MORE!
