NASA astronaut Christina Koch, currently an Expedition 60 crew member aboard the International Space Station, captured a stunning image of the launch of the Soyuz MS-15 spacecraft, which later docked with the ISS adding three new crew mates to the station. According to NASA, the Roscosmos spacecraft launched from Kazakhstan last Wednesday and docked with the USS after just six hours and four orbits of Earth.
Koch, who is expected to set a record for longest single spaceflight by a woman, posted the picture to her Instagram account. It was chosen today as NASA's photo of the day.
