Expedition 36 Land Safely In Kazakhstan
After watching their departure live yesterday evening, you'll all be glad to hear that the three Expedition 36 crew members have arrived safely in Kazakhstan. Commander Pavel Vinogradov, Chris Cassidy and Alexander Misurkin commenced their trip yesterday evening when their Soyuz spacecraft undocked from the International Space Station at 7:30 Eastern time.
The journey down to Earth was a swift one, with the crew reaching the ground just before 11pm. The trio were then greeted by the usual swarm of medical and technical staff who will check everything over and ensure there have been no negative effects from the landing and the 5 and half months spent in zero gravity.
