NASA will be holding a press conference today at 2pm in order to make an announcement regarding their two pioneering Voyager craft. According to NASA, the announcement is linked to a paper due to be published in the Journal of Science. The agency also revealed that there is an embargo on the findings until the announcement is made this afternoon. Once all is revealed, the embargo will be lifted, and NASA are inviting people to send in their questions about the news via Twitter.

NASA's Voyager 1 spacecraft is currently the furthest man-made object from Earth. For some time now, there has been a great deal of debate as to whether or not Voyager 1 remains within the boundaries of our solar system known as the heliosphere, or if it is in fact now embarking on a journey that can be classed as interstellar.
