Is Google Glass Being Underused? Latest App Uses Mind Control For Taking Photos

A new app for Google Glass allows you to take photos and post them on social media using only your mind, because Lord knows it's not easy enough already.

The app from This Place, called the 'MindRDR' uses electroencephalography to read your brainwaves and perceives bursts of concentration. The first increase in focus takes a picture, and then the second posts it to your social media accounts.

Seriously, this is the best use that I can think of for brain wave recognition technology. Forget about flying planes remotely in order to increase flight safety, or God forbid we ease the suffering of paraplegics. I, for one, want to be able to use my newfound powers of telepathy to post pictures on Facebook, not to make the world a better place.

To be fair, the creators of this app do have the rights of the disabled in mind: "It became very clear to us that those with disabilities have difficulty interacting with digital devices," said company director Ben Aldred. Well, consider our sarcasm firmly put in its place....
