Orbital Sciences' Antares rocket has exploded during its launch procedure at NASA's Wallops Flight Center in Virginia. At approximately 6:22pm on October 28th 2014, the Antares rocket was scheduled to lift off on a resupply mission to the International Space Station, however, just moments after lift-off, a mechanical issue triggered an explosion on the rocket. As of yet, there are no details on what caused the issue, but you can tune in live to NASA's coverage of the explosion below. At this time, we should reiterate that this was NOT a manned mission.
